16.8 fluid oz..........

...of Suave Kids "Orange Mango Tango" Shampoo sure does create quite a bubble bath!

*Please note: In the first three pictures there is NO WATER in the tub!

After Mr. Chandler decided to add a little extra "bubbly" (the entire brand new bottle of shampoo) to the bath water, I had to drain the tub to try and start over.

Although, trying to get rid of 16.8 oz of shampoo bubbles isn't as easy as it sounds!

But, the kids sure did have a good time!

It was kinda hard to be too mad about this incident when I couldn't stop laughing :-).

*Before I was married, I had a hundred theories about raising children and no children. Now, I have three children and no theories.

Yum! Suave Orange Mango is my favorite! The Wal-Mart here in town didn't carry it for awhile and I was always so excited to find it somewhere else.

I bet your children smell incredible!

Fortunately, Suave is cheap!!!

I love summer baths. In our home that means a little bubble bath in the kiddie pool. The hose creates lots of bubbles. Then I tell everyone to get in and swim around and be sure to go underwater to wash the ole noggin. Voila! Four clean kids! Hehe!

Very cute pics!

Jules-
I LOVE your summer bath idea! That's great...I'll have to give it a try.

Yep, the ol' 16.8 oz "value size" of Suave was only $1.48, so no real "harm" was done-LOL!

The kids did smell pretty yummy when they got out. :-)

Cute pics, Amber! You know, I have found that bubbles go away much faster with cold water than warm water. Although I'm sure the kids wouldn't have appreciated that one!

Yeah, Jules, I like your idea of baths.

A confession. . .I got my water bill yesterday and honestly thought it was going to sky rocket - but it went DOWN. Then I realized how little I am bathing the kids because of all the swimming they are doing. He Hee! Swimming. . .bathing. . .it's all the same. Right??!!

Great photos !! I miss those days with my kids.. Heck, My daughter won't even get dressed in the same dressing room as me when shopping! I would love to turn back the clock and do some more fun bubble baths !!
I did finally recover from boot blocking & running. What a day!! This weekend is going to be brutal as well ! I will miss running with you. I am definately going to have to alternate my training runs so I can run with my dear friends!

Karen-
Yes...swimming and bathing are all the same! As long as they don't stink or have dirty feet when they go to bed-LOL!

I'll have to try the cold water trick next time...the kids will probably think it's funny.

Jodi-
It took me all of Monday to recover from last weekend, & now here we are doing it again! Although, I'm not running 18 miles in the heat this Saturday-eek!

I'll bring a cooler full of drinks and snacks for us this Saturday.

*You better alternate your training locations, because I'll miss you too much if you don't! I'm already worried about who I'm going to run with this Saturday (because you know I can't run alone-hehe!).

Hey friend-
So Andrew is gone at camp this week and I was struggling to think of fun activities to do with my kids and your post inspired me!! Yesterday was bubble day so in the morning we played with bubbles and in the evening a bubble bath (outside) in the pool. So thank you for saving a little piece of my sanity this week!! --mic

Good for people to know.

Sometimes I don't get dressed for the day until 5:00...pm, and on the weekend I let my kids eat cookies for breakfast. I drank coffee (and sometimes diet coke) when I was pregnant. I use under eye concealer to cover up my zits & I bake when I'm stressed. If you can deal with all that....then welcome to our family blog!
