So, who is going to be the first to check out my fundraising page?
Now....on to round 2!!
*A special thanks to my wonderful friends and family for helping me every step of the way & giving so sacrificially so that I could make my recommitment goal! You all are such a blessing to me!
Sometimes I don't get dressed for the day until 5:00...pm, and on the weekend I let my kids eat cookies for breakfast. I drank coffee (and sometimes diet coke) when I was pregnant. I use under eye concealer to cover up my zits & I bake when I'm stressed. If you can deal with all that....then welcome to our family blog!

Hey Rhea!
It's nice to be making some good progress now :-). I'll have to do a "non-marathon" update next. I have some cute pictures of McKenna's preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch. Glad you still come by :-)
Woo Hoo! You'll get there!
How was the 16 mile run on Saturday?
I still check in even if I don't always leave a comment! I enjoy reading your blog, it makes me smile. :)

The 16 miler was....brutal! It was raining the WHOLE time we ran. Not just the pitter-patter kind of rain either. It was the pouring rain, mixed with strong winds, & bitter cold kind of rain. We had moments where it would rain a little softer & I would think "ah, maybe it will clear up"...but it never did. It was quite an experience! I actually have some funny memories from it.
Wow Amber. I am so impressed, and a little envious, of your new adventure! I think I am just too darn lazy. But you ARE inspiring, maybe I will start exercising again (yawn), maybe tomorrow . . .
;)
Faith-
Don't be too impressed. I wouldn't say I've reached any great athletic achievment just yet. LOL! So far the very best I can do is a 9 minute mile...and that's only if I have 3 miles or less to run. It took me almost 3.5 hours (3 hours and 22 minutes...but who counting) to run those 16 miles a few weeks ago. There is a 7 hour time limit on the Disney marathon, so let's hope I can finish it in that time period!
