For those of you who wanted cake pictures...
I've had a few people ask me to post pictures of my cakes...so here you go! Most of my cake pictures are not saved to my computer (and I don't have a scanner), so these are just a few of the cakes I've done this summer.

Wow, I am so impressed. You could make money doing that . . . with all that extra time you have on your hands, right! LOL
He...I've tried doing cakes on the "side" for extra money, but it was really tough. I never had enough business to make it worth it & I don't have an extra refrigerator or a double oven, so it takes a LOT of time. I've done several wedding cakes and they REALLY demand all my time for about 3 solid days!
I still like to do special cakes for friends and family though. It's a handy little skill to have sometimes. I originally took cake decorating classes so that one day when I had kids (I took the classes before Jon and I were married) I could do cool birthday cakes for them :-)
You are definitely the cake wizard!! I have to say that not only do your cakes LOOK great, they really do taste sublime!! I have never been a huge fan of buttercream icing - always too sweet. I am more of a canned frosting person, however, YOUR cakes taste soooooo good.
mmmm. . .this is making me hungry!
