The haircut.

Ok, so this s NOT the best picture, but I knew I had to post something before I got in trouble with all my faithful blog readers-LOL! So, here is a picture Tricia took of me after we had been laying out for two hours. I'm sweaty, and the shadows make me look like I have a "root" problem (which I don't....just paid good $$$ to get that fixed!)...but here it is :-)

************************************************************************************
*Jodi- notice I'm not posting this after midnight ;-) Tell me you're so proud-hehe!

Cute! It looks like you have some longer layers on the side, I love that. New hairstyles are such fun, aren't they? :-)

Yep! I thought I needed something a little lighter for summer (although with my hair nothing is "light" because it's too freaking thick!).

That's such a great picture of the manicured lawn. Why are you standing in the middle of it?

Honey,
The real shame is that no one can see my perfectly trimmed bushes in the front garden....now that's a shame! I may just have to do my next post about that ;-)

A pretty wife AND a pretty lawn, wow, you are a blessed man Jonathon. :-)

I agree... a beautiful wife and lawn !! Jonathan is a lucky man ! Love your hair cut !! Now when you run and it is hot and sticky out...your pony tail wont get all mangled up right?? But...will we still be able to recognize the blonde bouncy pony tail ?? I hope so !! And I am so very proud of you that you posted during the day and not when you are supposed to be sleeping! :-) Can't wait to see you on MOnday !!! Jodi

Very Cute!!! Funny, I have seen you in person several times since you had it cut but not once was it down. I like the layers.

(It's YOU. . .only BETTER!) :)

Aww, now you guys are making me blush-hehe! Seriously, the lawn looks better than me most of the time! I don't wear my hair down a whole lot during the summer because it's so thick and heavy that it just sticks to my neck and drives me crazy!

Jodi-
I too am wondering if you will be able to recognize me without the mangled mass of hair bouncing around when we run-LOL! I hope that doesn't throw anyone off :-) I'm REALLY looking forward to Monday!!

Amber,
I just have to ask...do you mow the lawn or J? Brent won't let me because I can't get the lines straight. So, if you did that mow job I'm extremly impressed! And I LOVE the hair! Do you feel like you lost 5 lbs? I do when I get mine cut a lot :) ~Amy
P.S. Enjoy your weekend and Jonathan's Father's Day, I hope it's a good one!

Thanks, Amy!
To answer your question, "No" I don't mow the law. HOWEVER, I'm confident that it would look just as good IF I did -hehe! Jonathan says I "can't" mow the lawn...but the truth is I DON'T WANT TO! I do everything else, so why would I want to add that to my list of things to do-LOL!

I stick to the garden type stuff (flowers, bushes, trees, etc) and let him do the lawn. In the end, the the flowers, trees, and bushes always look better than the lawn anyway.....just kidding!

*Oh, and I do feel "lighter" since I chopped off all that hair....but my freaking scale says I've GAINED 7 lbs! How does that happen? (I seem to remember why I don't weigh myself too often...)

Muscle, Amber, just tell yourself it is all muscle! :-)

Amber said...

Right...muscle-LOL!

Well, I've started running again, so I hope that those 7 pounds melt off in the summer heat :-). Seriously, I only took about a month off from running and that is what happened. Getting closer to 30 really sucks! Now I actually have to watch what I eat AND exercise-hehe! This is SO not fair.

Aw, Julie....you're so sweet :-)

Sometimes I don't get dressed for the day until 5:00...pm, and on the weekend I let my kids eat cookies for breakfast. I drank coffee (and sometimes diet coke) when I was pregnant. I use under eye concealer to cover up my zits & I bake when I'm stressed. If you can deal with all that....then welcome to our family blog!
